Online Phosphate Phosphorus Analyzer, HAPO-4000, is a measuring equipment designed to measure phosphate phosphorus by using absorption spectrophotometry (ascorbic acid reduction method) .HAPO-4000 performs continuous automatic measurement of phosphate phosphorus concentration in water based on the Standard Water Pollutant Testing Method, and it has wide range of applications in continuous automatic measurement and real-time monitoring device for management of drinking water quality, wastewater, industrial effluent, and groundwater.

Principle
When the sample flows in to the analyzer, the ammonium phosphorus molybdate that is created through reaction of phosphate ion in the sample with ammonium molybdate is reduced by ascorbic acid (C6H8O6)to generate the color of molybdenum blue. Here, phosphate phosphorus is quantified by measuring the blue absorbance of molybdenum blue at 880nm. Depending on the sample water conditions of the site, the measurement wavelength can be set to 710nm.
